LifeRing Reaches Out Through National Recovery Month: September 2010
You may have noticed the post from Craig Whalley, LifeRing’s CEO, about Recovery Month, which is being celebrated nationwide in September. Recovery Month’s national website is at www.recoverymonth.gov
Please take a look at the map, calendar and list below to see where and when LifeRing already committed to participate in Recovery Month events. And please, express your thanks to those who have agreed to be event organizers.
We Need Your Help!
There are many places and events where we would like to have LifeRing participation in Recovery Month, but cannot do so because we lack funding or volunteers.
Click here or email RecoveryMonth@LifeRing.org to find out more about what you can do to support LifeRing’s Recovery Month outreach in your community and State.
To find out whether there are other Recovery Month events scheduled in your local area where LifeRing might want to participate, visit www.recoverymonth.gov/Community-Events and search for your state. (Don’t bother with the more specific searches, they are a bit misleading.) Once the state’s events appear, you may need to click through to each event and use a bit of google mapping to determine the locations.
