LIFERING ONLINE MEETINGS ATTENDANCE VERIFICATION
Verification of online meeting attendance will be sent to the email address you provide on the Online Meeting Verification Request form.
To request a meeting verification, please complete the LifeRing Secular Recovery Online Meeting Verification Request form following the guidelines below.

- The link to the Online Meeting Attendance Verification is provided by the convenor in the chat window toward the end of the meeting.
- If you did not receive the link, please reach out to the Attendance Verification Team within 24-hours of the meeting.

Quick guide to requesting online meeting attendance verification
- Requests should be submitted directly after your meeting ends.
- Requests must be submitted within 24-hours of the meeting to ensure prompt processing.
- Online Meeting Attendance Verification Forms must be submitted within one week (7 days) of the attended meeting.
- Online Meeting Attendance Verification Forms submitted more than 7 days after the meeting will not be eligible for review. Please see details below
Eligibility for attendance verifications
Meeting Attendance Verifications are only sent if:
- you are in attendance for the duration of the scheduled meeting,
- you attend one of our scheduled online meetings. We cannot issue verification for time spent in the 24-hour Chat Room outside of scheduled Chat Meetings or time spent in the Zoom waiting room prior to the start of the meeting.
- you submit your verification request within one week (7 days) of the meeting.
Please note:
- Only three (3) meeting attendance verification requests submitted for meetings within a 24-hour period will be eligible for review.
- We cannot send verification for two meetings that overlap (e.g. 6:15pm Pacific & 7:00pm Pacific)
Processing timeframe
- To ensure a prompt response, please submit your Meeting Attendance Verification Request directly after your meeting. These requests will be processed within 24 hours of successfully completed form submission.
- Requests submitted within 24 hours of the meeting will be processed within 24-36 business hours of receipt.
- Requests submitted later than 24 hours after the meeting ends will require additional information and additional processing time.
- Requests submitted more than 7 days after the meeting will not be eligible for review. Please see details below
Timely requests – within 24 hours
The Attendance Verification Team will check to confirm your attendance and prepare a manual meeting verification, which may take up to 36 business hours to process.
If you were unable to copy the verification link posted during your meeting, please send an email to the Attendance Verification Team within 24 hours of the meeting.
Late requests – after 24 hours
Verification requests submitted later than 24-hours following the meeting may take up to 7 days to process.
Ineligible requests – after 7 days
Verification requests submitted later than one week (7 days) following the meeting will not be eligible for Attendance Verification Review.
Verification request limits
Only three (3) meeting attendance verification requests submitted for meetings within a 24-hour period will be eligible for review. There is no limit to the number of LifeRing Secular Recovery you may attend. Meetings are intended to provide a supportive, nonjudgmental environment where participants develop their own personal recovery plans.
Missing verification link
If you missed the verification link posted during your meeting, please send an email requesting the link to the Attendance Verification Team within 24-hours of the meeting.
Email verification requests
Email verification requests should only be submitted if you are unable to complete the Online Meeting Attendance Verification Request Form. If you are unable to complete the form, please send an email to the Attendance Verification Team within 24-hours of the meeting with the following meeting information:
- Meeting date
- Time of meeting as scheduled on the Online Meetings menu
- Your screen name
- Convenor's name
- Zoom meeting ID number
We cannot assure a prompt response for meeting verification requests made by email. Tracking down confirmations for email requests results in a delay in the issuance of attendance verifications. Email requests can take up to 7 days to process. You can help expedite this process by providing additional information:
- Meeting topic
- Electronic record of your attendance. This can be found in your Zoom Meeting app if you have one.
If you did not get a meeting verification email in your inbox
- Please allow 24 - 36 business hours for delivery of the verification email.
- Please check and make sure it is not in your spam/junk folder.
- You may have provided an incorrect email address on the request form. If you think this is the case, please contact the Attendance Verification Team.
