Welcome to the LifeRing Annual Conference! This two-day event brings together the LifeRing community and representatives of the LifeRing network of recovery resources. What’s the Difference Between the Annual Conference, Annual Meeting, Annual Congress and Delegate’s Assembly?

  • Annual Conference is the umbrella term for the two-day event. The Annual Conference is a virtual event and will be hosted through video conferencing. The Conference is open to convenors, volunteers, meeting members and the LifeRing Community. [See also Rules of Procedures]
  • Annual Meeting is held on Saturday, June 6, 2026, and is the first day of the Annual Conference. At the Annual Meeting, convenors and the LifeRing Community gather to hear speakers, participate in workshops and socialize.
  • Annual Congress is held on Sunday, June 7, 2026, and is the final day of the Annual Conference. The Annual Congress is made up of the Delegates’ Assembly and the LifeRing Secular Recovery Board of Directors meeting. 
  • Delegates’ Assembly is held on Sunday, June 7, 2026, and is the first segment of the Annual Congress. During the Assembly, BOD nominees and proposed Bylaw changes are brought to the Delegates for review and consideration. Delegates also bring forward their meeting reports for the Assembly to review.

Deadlines:

  • April 6, 2026 | Delegate Nominations Email Invitation:  Issued on 03/07/2026 with follow up Q&A meeting 03/14/2026.
  • April 23, 2026 | Meeting Registration: All meetings must have an active charter. Contact your Regional Representative with questions.
  • May 8, 2026 | Delegate Registration Deadline: All delegates  must be registered by this date.
  • May 8, 2026 | Bylaws Changes and BOD Directives: Proposals must be submitted by this date.
  • May 30, 2026 | BOD Nominations: All board member nominations must be submitted by this date. 
  • May 30, 2026 | Meeting Reports: All written meeting reports must be submitted by this date for public posting.
