LifeRing Presents at CCAR | MPRC Conference

LifeRing outreach efforts met with great success at the May 11-13, 2022 Multiple Pathways of Recovery Conference hosted by CCAR in Colorado Springs, CO.

LifeRing was asked to join the CCAR | MPRC national conference this year and LifeRing Outreach Chair Lorraine Hull was invited to present as a guest speaker. Lorraine addressed a breakout group for over an hour focusing on Liftering's philosophy and successes as a peer-led secular recovery community. Her audience was made up of healthcare industry professionals and recovery treatment specialists.

The conference schedule included a number breaks allowing presenters and participants time to mingle nd share information. Lorraine took these opportunities to meet stakeholders from other mutual-support recovery groups and to introduce LifeRing to healthcare providers and treatment professionals in attendance. She also distributed a pamphlet crated for the conference targeting recovery healthcare industry leaders and decisionmakers. 45% of people who received the pamphlet went to the linked LifeRing landing page for professionals.

Lorraine is also a long-term Board Member and former Board Co-Chair; active weekly HWYW meeting convenor; and Fundraising, Marketing, Communications and Grants Committee Chair. Lorraine juggles
