LifeRing Introduces Our First Family & Friends Weekly Meeting

LifeRing Secular Recovery is proud to announce a new weekly Friends and Family meeting every Sunday at 12:00pm Pacific Time.  This meeting focuses on the needs of people who have a recovering person in their lives. 

The weekly LifeRing Friends & Family meeting is built on the LifeRing “How Was Your Week?” check-in format and follows the principles of all LifeRing meetings: We welcome people who are looking for a safe, nonjudgmental space to express themselves and explore their support objectives. We treat everyone with respect and everything shared is confidential.

This meeting is centered on family and friends who care about someone in substance use recovery. It will be determined by the core group if these meetings may also include those in recovery. 

For LifeRing family and friends who are interested in learning more about LifeRing as an organization, we also offer a monthly Introduction to LifeRing for Family and Friends on the first Saturday of each month at 9:00am Pacific. The weekly Family & Friends follows on Sundays at 12:00pm Pacific Time.

      Thanks, Claire — Yes. The first meeting is on March 5th at 10:00am Pacific Time. This is now listed on the LifeRing Online Meetings menu.
