Does a life ring conveyor get paid? I would be interested in trying to get a regular meeting going in the KCMO metro area. There is a big demand for recover programming and meetings.

Hi Jason. LifeRing convenors are volunteers. The benefits are: A really, really big slice of satisfaction knowing you’re helping others just like you who are searching for substance use recovery. You can read about being a LifeRing Convenor here:

the chart is self explanatory. might be better understood if it were larger? this is good information!

Thanks, Kathleen. Unfortunately, there’s only so much space on a standard webpage. The image is set to rescale to fit all screens regardless of your browsing device. Smartphones and androids have a magnification gesture you can use to increase image size. If you’re a luddite like me, you can simply press Ctrl++ on your keyboard. To reduce, press Ctrl+-. Who needs readers??

I just love a chart that has no explanation of what any of the numbers stand for. Totally useless.

    • Bees on March 22, 2022 at 12:38 pm

Thanks for the constructive feedback, Laura. The chart shows the number of attendees in LifeRing Meetings during a one week period of time. For instance: Wednesday @ 9:00am had 57 people in attendance.
