It is our great honor to introduce LifeRing’s newest online special meeting starting this Veterans Day 2021, November 11th at 4:00pm Pacific:

Veterans in Recovery is a closed meeting and attendance is reserved exclusively for veterans and active duty personnel. For access to this meeting, please reach out to Mike by email:

Mike will be convening this closed meeting for Veterans in Recovery. He brings both military experience and convening skills.

Mike served in the United States army with 5 years’ active duty. He joined the LifeRing Community when LifeRing was formed back in 1997. He has been active with LifeRing ever since and is now celebrating 3+ years continuous sobriety. 

Along with convening, Mike also contributes his time as a volunteer on the LifeRing Outreach Committee. He sat as a delegate during the LifeRing Annual Conference in 2020.

Veterans Day is a long-standing national holiday honoring living US veterans who served in the military. It was first recognized as “Armistice Day” marking the end of WWI. In 1954, the holiday was changed to “Veterans Day” in order to celebrate US veterans serving in all wars.
